For people with a dog or a cat

One question a week about your pet. Twenty weeks makes a book.

Most of what you love about your animal never gets written down anywhere. Tailbound asks one small question a week, you answer it in about a minute, and the answers pile up into something worth keeping.

Milo’s prompt this week

Send a photo of Milo’s favorite spot. Why that one?

How it works

A question arrives, once a week

One notification. No feed, no streak, no nudge to post more than you meant to.

You answer it in about a minute

A photo, and a line in your own words — typed, or just said out loud. Add a sound or a short clip if you want one: the bark, the chirp at the window, the particular noise they make at dinner time.

It becomes a page

Each answer lands in an album you can scroll through and listen to, in your own handwriting-style captions. Twenty weeks makes one volume.

The kind of thing it asks

What does Milo do the moment you walk in the door?
Show us Milo asleep. Where do they always end up?
What sound does Milo make that you’d know anywhere?
Photograph something Milo has claimed as their own.
